/ LabChild’s Lane is a creative incubation laboratory in the School of Architecture and Design at KMUTT. For more than twelve years we have used animation, VR and games in the service of health and cultural heritage.

about

The lab was founded by Dr. Wisit Supangkaratana, an animator with twenty years in the industry. Its research bridges creative media and evidence-based intervention: films that ease children’s fear in hospital, VR that helps adolescents with autism practise social skills, and stories that carry the beliefs of the Mekong to new audiences.

The name describes what the lab sets out to be: a nurturing lane where creative ideas, art, design, experimentation and collaboration across disciplines can grow.
